I have never experienced any skid even during a heavy downpour like this morning. My mileage is now over 20,000km.

Could it be your tyres were under inflated?

Or did the skid occur when you were tracking in Sepang etc?

Or did you executed an aggressive cornering at high speed above the legal limit?

When tyres skid doesn't mean ABS has to be activated ....... since your mileage is low, dun think you have much experience on the road.

My tyres underinflate ? Seem like you do not understand my sentence that I pump my tyres everyweek.

What presumption from you that I go to Sepang ?

What is the legal limit for cornering as define by you as aggressive and what kind of corner are you referring at ?

Silver:
still on Toyo J50 - mileage is 45k km - tread depth still good = 3.00 mm above the tread wear indicator

Toyo tyres ---> Quality grades = Treadwear grade 220, Traction grade A, Temperature grade A
(information on sidewalls of tyres)

What are the quality grades for the other brands and models?

changed mine at abt 28k....reason: skidded while i was climbing hdb multi-story car park on a wet day on many occasion.....new tyres: goodyear ls-2000 hybrid. super grip on the road wet or dry...makes wet road feels like dry road... :yehyeh: :yehyeh:
