Having problems with my ac unit too. Kept blowing to my feet. Brrr... Especially once it reached the temp. So I have to adjust to 18 degrees to keep the fan blowing to my body, where it's needed!

My hissing sound has been for a about 3 months now.. Now I notice that the air is colder on the driver side. The passenger, the air blowing out is not so cold.. Very strange..

36. KT : replaced cooling coil - car ard 4 years old. Compressor quite noisy when starting engine. Think also about to up lorry. Now just waiting for it to totally die before replacing it

Is there a right procedure to handle our aircon to prolong the use of compressor/fan coil and also what kind of aircon servicing can be done to prevent such replacement. I went to TCM at TP did come across an aircon servicing package $143 but SE didnt comment much about it. Anyone try this package?
