Spare Tyre

Hi,

Does anyone here remove their spare tyre from the boot?
Can it really improve the FC?

Tks

I would advise do not remove your spare tyre, as spare tyre is the most importmant spare part that you carry with. You never know when you need it.

It also does not help much in fuel consumption.

josho:
Seriously speaking, try not to bother too much on FC if you can. What happen if ur FC is really bad? Sell it away? No right?

Just enjoy the ride. =)

As for the spare tyre, you never know when you need it. You end up have to pay for towing services +  waiting time. =) Spare tyre is not so heavy, so dun worry too much.

Cheers.

Taking out the spare tire doesnt help much in FC. It is better than not having it when u really need it. Call tow truck just because of a punctured tire?

nakshire:
i felt like removing it last time... but after considering it seriously, i decided to leave it there.

Reason for taking out:
better pick up due to lesser mass F=ma
Fuel economy is negligible considering the amount of work done, its really negligible.

Reason for staying inside:
No need call tow truck when puncture tyre
Increase in stability due to lower CG (negligible too)
In case kena kissed hard from behind, there is a spare tyre to protect you (told by dex1999)

So comparing all the pros and cons, its wiser to leave it there....
