is it the 'tok tok' sound when u turn the steering? I got the same problem, highlighted to TCM and they change the coupling during my 10K servicing. So far so good, no sound when turning.

been driving my latio hb for 16 months the sound appear on the 6th month. didn't bother to change since no impact of safety. so far so good.

Me too got this strange "tok tok{" sound very faint must listen out for it especially after going over humps...seems to be coming from the steering..did complain to TCM and they changed coupling but sound still have...just don't know where it is actually originating from.. :confused1: :confused1:

This ******** noise is really annoying

Driving Latio for 4 years currently and had the coupling replaced once about 2 years ago but since a year ago the noise been back

Went back to TCM few months back and they lubricated it. Helped only for a couple of months before it was back

Only can hear and especially feel it when i'm turning very slow. Sometimes when i parallel park the "tok tok" noise can be quite loud. Sounds as if i hit a car. I'm hearing and feeling it much more cas i'm on 215/45/17 tires

Told TCM TP about the relapse and was told that even by replacing it again it'll eventually be back over time due to the design defect and told me there's no safety issues

It's funny how Nissan knows that this problem exists and have not fixed it in a 5 year old model thats still selling

Going for 90K servicing this week and will be bringing up the issue again
