go search around the car forum for reviews of the car. Try to go to those more common forum, like mycarforum or oneshift for comments by the car owner themselves.

eg: http://www.oneshift.com/members/listcr.php?carmake=27&search_text=latio

Generally Latio is a good car for everyday drive and of course there may be small problem here and there but that also applied to every made.  For every CVT cars (Honda, Nissan, Toyota, ...) just make sure you don't redline and stress the CVT too much and remember to change CVT oil every 40,000km.

i have been driving latio sports premium for 1 year plus. i can say this is a good family car, spacious and reliable.

Other than some common fault like steering coupling and the suspension, built in lousy headunit but overall i m still happy with my ride. The ride is smooth and quiet.
