my car now 110k . went to autoaid at toh guan last week to chg my CVT fluid and alternator chged,... they are very knowledgeable in latio..they are former TCM mechanics,..pricing reasonable,... I'll be gng to them for my next servicings ,...

anyways,..will not be letting go of my for another 4 yrs or more,... very happy with the perf and now mileage,... weird,.. been getting around 280 at half tank,..510km and light still havent come out ( my wife too scared,.. forced to me fill up hahaha ) ,...whereas prev struggled to get 180 at half,... and 1/4 mark can only get 280 - 300 and best of all, all these are after chging to 17" rims and open pod,....  :yehyeh:

totally agree... its a matter of repairing or changing the defective/worn/damaged parts.
in some sense, other than the chassis, almost the "whole" car can be replaced as long as parts are available; from the engine to gearbox, from upholstery to body panels, etc etc.
but the costs may not be worthwhile, as the commonly used phrase "beyond economical repair" says it all.

Thanks guys.. Ya , i understand car can last 10 years.. haha...

what i mean is... is latio parts lasting (gearbox, engine, aircon, alternator etc or any expensive parts which cannot tahan for 10 years one)?

thanks for your opinion and contribution... :yehyeh:

Latio parts seems lasting up to now, although mine is low mileage, feel the car is reliable and economical still.
Mine is 5 years old, so far if due to defect is only change steering coupling once. Other stuffs due wear and tear are tyres, battery, air con filters, all changed thrice. Air filter, CVT fluid, beltings, wipers, all changed once.

Hope that by regular servicing and normal parts replacement, the car can last another 5 years.  Other than that, think nothing much i could do if car got design flaws or inherent problems.

Yes I believe it can last 10 years. Altough my car is only 2 years plus, I remember I bought another brand previously new, if i compare latio and the previous brand i bought new, i can tell that latio is easily better condition than the other car i bought at 2 yrs plus.

My point is i can feel that latio is more solidly made with better quality in comparision with other brand I owned before.

Good car.....not because i owned one but based on comparisons with other 1.5/1.6 cars i owned previously.
