applying the emergency brake mechanism actuates the brake cylinder and piston to push both pads towards the drum

and when activated in a parking situation - there is mimimal wear on the pads as the drum is not rotating

My car at its 3rd year..........brake pads still visibly ok and does not emit any beseeching when i apply the brakes......over 90k liao. But at 100k....gonna chge them
