Brakes Jammed
motosung:
Was driving and noticed that my wheel was juddering alittle with the car pulling over to one side with slight loss off power
Pulled over and noticed my wheel was extremely hot so my suspicion of wheel weight flying off was ruled off
Went to TCM immediately and they told me my brakes were jammed. Luckily its not jammed in a very tight pull or i can't imagine what would have happened since i was driving in the expressway at that moment
They did a overhaul of my both front brakes and damage was around $170
Did not change brake pads since i just changed mine under NPNT around 8K KM ago
My car's 4.5 years old, millage 109K
Anyone else had similar problem?
kspchew:
Mine did but on the left hand side. replace the oil ring assembly at AS

Try Autosaver or Autoaid
Gone with the wind:
Motosung, you mentioned you just changed your break pad not too long ago at TCM. Did it occur to you that TCM might not do a proper job, like they did not clean off all the break dust, or install the break pad or whatever mechanism properly that it caused it to jam? Remember you had did 100k without a single problem, and normally break calippers would not cause problem, because this is the most important portion of a car.
You should have questioned TCM and asked them to explain how and why it jammed after their service.
Just my 2 cents thought.
