thirsty latio.. anyone??

recently my ride is very thirsty.. from 1L = 10.5km to 1L = 8.5km..

had monitor for the last 4 tanks.. i always pump myself so to achieve the "same" level..

nothing new/old is added/removed.. ride is 4 yrs+.. always constant at 10.5km/l..

can anyone share experience or wat is the likely possiblility??

My usual FC is around 13 - 14 with the mileage around 130k using SPC 95.
There was a time when it drops to 10 due to air filter.  Other factors are also considered assuming
you are consistent with your right foot

- type PSI (mine is around 250 for front and back)
- use fuel injector cleaner every 10k (either Gunk or STP)
- make sure your air filter is still in good condition. 
- regular change of engine oil every 10k (been using 5w40 since 60k onwards.  ultraman followed by astroboy)

my ride is 80k+.. always service at TCM.. so servicing is not an issue..

my right foot.. heavy or light still comes ard 10.5km/l (10 to 11.5)..

STP fuel injector is always added after servicing.. done engine flush twice..

tyre check everyweek after refuel..

air filter looks clean but after blowing.. there is a fair bit of oil coming out (normal??)..

but for the past 1 mth plus.. i notice it drop almost 20% instantly..

at first i tot it cld be faultly fuel level (changed once 2 yrs back)..

but whether it's working or not it does not matter as i used mileage/litres to get the FC..

i was wondering.. cld it be piston ring wear and tear?? :scared:

depends on different latio across the island. some latio can only run 10, some can run 17. its based on luck. i resigned to it liao.. mine 11 only
