Are Yokohoma tyres any good?
Zippy:
If I'm not wrong the Falken @ TCM is the 912 model which some people will caution you about it's wet grip. Your GR80 is a very good tyre and the current model is GR90 which also has very good reviews. If you like the GR80, why dun you stick to the GR90?
The Michelin equivalent to GR90 is the XM-1 which i have been using for quite a few years liao. Price is similar to GR90, about $130 per tyre and very quiet and good wet grip.
iagree:

I've used bridgestone and I only like their Potenza series, which has slightly more aggressive threading. Those tyres mentioned, at $130.00, what size are they?
I'm on the V12 from Hankook at the moment and am very happy with it. Have more than 10k km on them now now and still very quiet for the aggressive type of thread that in on the Tyre. Sidewall is slightly harder than the V8s that I was previously on. Turn in is a little quicker than those softer wall V8s. Don't feel aquaplaning when I pass thru those puddles of water and you know there are plenty of them at the moment. Don't ask me how is the grip for wet weather, never really take hard corners when it's wet and I've no intention to push those tyres to the limit, wet or dry, just that I really want the features to be there just in case it's needed. Hankook will also do 4 wheel alignment for you at $50.00 if you join their member or use their tyres. Did the 4 wheel alignment on Monday and the steering was tilted slightly and I went back to rectify that today, no questions asked.
Think I paid $525 for the set of tyres 205/55/16 - rating is 94W when I changed my tyres in December. Voucher worth $55.00. go to their site at www.shhtyres.com.sg and take a look. I think the promotion is still on as I saw it on their site.
Zippy:
$130/tyre is for 195/60 R15
