Burning smell from aircon at 3k rpm

I recently went to NSH and drove for 2 hours at high speed (110-120). RPM was around 3k~4k on the NSH. Nothing unusal during the trip.

After I came back and found that if I step the gas pedal harder to about 3k rpm for more than 3 seconds, there will be some burning smell from the central aircon vent. I checked engine bay, exhaust, tyre and found nothing wrong. Any ideas?

I do not have this kind of smell before I went for NSH trip.
