Running at gear 2 for a long distance :-(
« on: December 07, 2011, 11:58:11 AM »
Came back from midnight flight last night and without knowing, I placed my car on gear 2 and run for at least 20 min  :crycry:  Thinking that the car was not been run for at least a week and it was behaving abnormally.  Actually, it was the driver  :out: .  Noticed that after running from Simei to east coast park and immediately changed to D.

Will there be any damage to the car?

Tks!

Speed of 70 at gear 2 still under redline, so not to worry.

Dear all,

Thanks for the information.  I sent in my ride to Nissan for maintenance yesterday and they have checked my gear box.  Tested ok  ::)  But, I have another nail in the same tire (3rd holes alread)   :devil2:  Wonder why I keep having nails on that same tire.  Suspect someone is doing the damage.

Anyway, I am happy that my ride is ok after the ******** drive on 2nd gear.
