How to tell if Tan Chong changed rear shock absorber

(1/3) > >>

Hi Guys,

I just took up Tan Chong's shock absorber offer to changed my shock absorbers. I can see the front absorbers are new as it is clean and new but when i look at the rear wheels everything looks old. Can anyone advice if the rear absorber can be seen from the side of the rear wheel?

Is there a way to tell if it has been changed? I can feel the front of the car become less bouncy after the change but somehow the back feels the same so i went to visually inspect the car to see if it has been changed but nothing looks new at the back.

anyone can offer some advice? Thanks

1 easy way.....did they return u all the 4 old absorbers? For me they left it inside the boot.....

Jazz:
Definitely can see rear absorber. The price you paid is for whole set or just front pair ?

u just have to peep from the rear wheel and u should be able to see it. ;)

I took the offer from Tan Chong that is supposed to be for front and back.

I saw a rod like structure beside the rear wheel but it looks old...all covered with dirt...definitely does not look new..

They did not return the old suspensions to me even though they were in good condition...i changed because car is around 5 years old and i wanted to take advantage of the offer...probably could have lasted me another few years.

Will give TC a call to see if they can confirm if it was changed.

Thanks for the advice :)
