FC compare for 100% city, urban pattern

(1/4) > >>

haido:
Hi, like to hear from fellow lations who travel pattern is 100% city/urban like me.. Maybe can self-console abit.. haha.. mine is just above 11km/l.. Just bought a 07 Latio Sport about 2 months back.. So far only pump 5 times.

Any tips for better mileage for city dwellers?

pizzaboy:
Durin mornin or nite time, try to drive wif windows down. When movin off frm stationery try to change ur gears at below 3k rpm if u r drivin 4AT. Regular servicin oso plays a part in havin a gd fc for ur ride.

Anyway its ur right foot dat is doin è trick most of è time, i used to travel frm my hse (west) to my jobsite at tampines best i manage to achieved was 500km until yellow lite appear. Most of è time i'm a heavy footer on 17" rims. So fc is not so much of a major concern to me.

Jazz:
Keep your car clean, no extra stuffs in your boot or interior. If can tahan, on your fan 1 and switch to 25 degC, if hot day, go for fan 2 and max adjust to 23 degC, no auto set.

haido:
From west to tampines will be highway most of time so confirm will have better FC...

Mine is CVT though. I quite light footed. And with traffic light always in sight, difficult to chiong anyway. My rpm seldom above 2.5k.

Aircon most of the time on though it always at 24degree, fan 2or 3 No auto set.

Car is clean as well cause still new so never (havent?) buy much. Heaviest item should be the spare tyre. Usually 1 adult and 1 child passenger.

pizzaboy:
Oh ya remember to check tyre pressure occasionally, it plays a part in ur fc too.
If u got urself a tyre repair diy kit, u can do away wif è spare tyre. Dat pcs of wheel adds to alot of unnecessary weight to our ride.

If u travel pattern is mostly city wif alot of start stop drivin, maybe u can consider fixin pivot throttle controller. There is various mode of settin for u to choose frm eco, normal & sports.
