Just went to Kelvin's workshop in the morning. I would like to thank Kelvin and his workshop specialists for helping me check the drum brake knocking sound. So far so good, hope that the problem won't come back.

I also went today for my 80,000km servicing. Pricing is reasonable and only recommend to change or replace parts if really necessary.
Checking is thorough and they really dont mind me asking questions whenever I have any doubt.

hi ckmckm, is your 'drum brake knocking sound' comes on when you drive off after parking it for a long while ? Lately, my ride encounter this issue too.  Any parts changed by kelvin ? i intend to go to his workshop tomorrow. thanks

Yes, the "Got Got" sound was heard when I moved off after parking over the night.
Sometime, I can hear it after driving for an hour.

Previously, I went back to Tan Chong Ubi and they changed my brake cylinder because it was leaking but the sound came back after one month.

I went to Kelvin's workshop yesterday and he checked the drum brake for me.
He said the tension on both drum brakes were different so he adjusted the tension so that both are the same.
At the same time, he greased the moving part.

After the servicing, I can feel the brake response better when I stepped on the pedal.
So far, I didn't hear any more sound coming from the drum brake.

Kelvin didn't change any part, he just service the drum brake.
