The cvt fluid must be NS-2 from Nissan, no after market type to be use. CVT NS-2 fluid is quite costly, about 90 - 110 per 4 litre. Please correct me if i'm wrong ...

Hi spyder_696, still not sure where to look for dip stick lei (the dip stick for eng oil can be found)...should be the the stick at middle below right? If yes, how to open the cover? Have try service at Malaysia but the info gather from them very diff from S'pore lei ...eg. they are also using hand held electronic device, and showed me the gear milleage is diff from car milleage, eg. car milleage at 45kkm but gear milleage only at 12kkm...worst still :out: :out: :out:has been advised that our cvt fluid can last upto 210kkm lei ::) ::) ::)hee...hee.....believed sound very confuse to many, but this is my true exp in Malaysia...thinking of going to autosaver on my next service...rather be safe than be sorry....

the cvt dip stick is some where btw the battery and the coolant cap... check fluid level when engine is running... for my last cvt.. i change the cvt oil first time at 38k... then gearbox start to slip before it hit 70k, i change cvt oil again... then near 100k, gearbox is really bad... sold off immediately... tat was a mit cvt...
for my latio.. i will change inbtw the recommended mileage, as i drive very little and very hard... hee...
