Hi All CVT latio owners...

I have a puzzling question.. my friends told me that CVT engine can last at most MAX 120K mileage and BYE BYE... let's say monthly mileage=2000 km*12mths=24k yearly .. so can drive for 5 Years only..

maybe in year 1992 yes...
not now i suppose...
CVT is a gearbox not a engine...
go and google nissan techincal website to read more about nissan extronic cvt...
they are different from others...
i think they lock their torque convertor quite frequently...
so it is not as smooth as a cvt shld be...
but shld be able to outlast other cvt boxes ba...

Thank you Bro for the input.. yes, i meant the gearbox..
A great relief. But will it last say 7~8 years before it konks out ?
I intend to drive till scrap.
