For those who on their aircon, usually will have a "thun" sound coming from compressor in normal working conditions.
So for those who on their aircon but did not heard this sound, most likely is the compressor got shorted.

I got this problem when travelling from one area to another area and the aircon was working fine, park there for a few hours and start engine hot air blowing out again. Did not heard the sound. After diagnose at one of the WS, found that is compressor problem.

The person just use a tester to test on the fuse and the fuse was open. He inform just change 1 of the part in compressor (repair) and top up gas. Now working fine.

Meaning to say, actually no need to change out the compressor which I did about 3 years back. Just change one part inside compressor ok liao.

Maybe I can share my problems so others can also benefit.

My car was about 5 years old, and aircon started not able to cut in (no "thun"sound) when in jam like causeway to JB. But when checked at workshop, the aircon worked fine. It happened more frequently after that. Even while waiting in the car, the aircon would not cut in. So my problem with aircon is only not cool during jam/stationary and under hot sun. I went to Tomika @Alexandra and they changed the compressor magnetic clutch @200.

All went well for another 6 months, then after another long 1 hour jam at causeway, the aircon totally not able to cut in. Went to Kelvin's workshop and they showed me the fuse broken and advised me to change the compressor. Now the aircon cools much faster than before. Hopefully it can last me a few more years.
