Number Plate

My number plate was having the black color portion peeling off. One of the digit affected badly.
Anyway to touch up or need to make a new car plate and how much will it cost?
Will the inspection also check on the car plate?

less than $20 to replace one plate.  will fail inspection or be stop by LTA if you dont rectify it.
