Changing engine oil

So shld i go ahead and change for my 5k servicing?
Anyone did it before? can share ur experience?
shld i change to semi-syn or fully syn engine oil?
really no idea...
thx1138 has a point that 5k mineral oil is free. why spend money to get our own engine oil.

No offense thou. Since you wanna agreed on the free mineral oil, why post this question ?
5K service difinitely must go.

i agreed with thx1138 but i also heard that changing the engine oil to synthetic will boost the FC
and makes the ride smoother.
i am going for the 5k servicing for sure. my consideration now is whether
to change engine oil...

a few more questions. I am totally novice to engine oil.
1. if i use my own engine oil at 5k, then at 10k, i must bring my own engine oil to change again?
2. if i cont to use TC mineral oil at 5k, then at 10k, will TC change my engine oil to syn oil?
3. how to read the different engine oil label, the xWxx, wat are those numbers?
