In that case, what is meant by the "Immobilizer" function and how does it work? Thanks.

idiotboi89:
if ur doors not locked. ppl open ur door, cannot start engine and drive away, can only steal ur cashcard and stuff. Tat immobilizer is to let u start ur engine without the need of putting in key.

1) start car withh I-key in pocket and drive off
2) stop at roadside and driver get off(I-Key in pocket) to buy kopi. wife sitting in car with engine on.
3) sanmon auntie come, wife need to drive car off so as not to kenna sanmon

Can the car move since I-key is not within operational zone? Or will the engine be cut off immediately?

I see.  Thought the meaning of "immobilizer" means something more sophisticated.  It is no difference from other cars where if you din lock the car door, people can open the door and steal things but cannot drive off since they do not have the car key.  Confused leh.
