Car Vibrates when Idling, anyone experienced?
alantan9:
I just went back to TCM Ubi just now...requested for them to retune idling rpm to 800. Went on a test drive jus now felt ok no vibration nothing liao... I guess should be ok ba....750rpm and 800 rpm no much diff. On the highway, cruising at 80km/h at 1600 rpm. =)
Anyway i chatted with the technician just now and he told me that the ECU will readjust back one as in even though we increase the idling rpm by 50 or 100. Eventually it will readjust by itself after a few days. He did mention that it is normal for the idling rpm to drop once the aircon compressor is cut off.

idling rpm low is good...esp if u always in a jam or travel often during rush hour ( like me )...downside , the car will 'shiver'.
alantan9:
Haha ya...but what i am rather irritated by the 'shivering'...haha... :bleh:

Turn off the A/C and shift to N. Guaranteed 700rpm and smooth idling. I think that's what the ECU was designed to do.
alantan9:
hmmz....then like dat on and off the aircon abit no point leh...haha
