Ya. I would also think that our keyless entry is only to ignite the engine system. Once engine starts, our key no use already. The LED displayed only showed that our key is not around, would have no effect on the engine.

Wonder if other luxurous cars have the true imobilizer ie even if engine started, no key also cannot drive.

ever experience b4 i started the engine and left it to idle, i left the vehicle for a moment when i return to the car the engine was cut off...
