Dear Bros and Sis

lately my Latio 4AT drinking petrol like water, and net yet 5K servicing yet......my driving conditions worsen a bit lately as I encounter a number of jams, but lately my last 2 full tank dry up before reaching 400Km, and I top up abt 36-38L. I used to get abt 12.5FC, but now less than 11....somethings wrong? I also try to maintain my rpm at 2K most of the time, sometimes overtake will hit 3K, but very very seldom...

any suggestion ? :confused1: :crying:

Yo Bro....i believe alot of lations share the same setiments as yours with lots of qns on the FC....like mine also has drop but mainly due to my route of travelling and % of highways vs cities area..so really gotta gauge the rational behind lor... Anyway, few factors that may cater to the reasons behind although some may / may not agree lah

Air Con adjustment (How cold / hot you adjusted)
Tyres (Air inflation did you check freq)
Traffic Congestion (Traffics also need to consider the idling time, stopping period)
Foot how heavy (Heavier you are, more it will lim your petrol)
Speed constant (Maintain proper speed all the way to avoid unnec wastage of petrol)
Way of driving - Sudden brake / pickup, etc..(rem any sudden movement sure pump our ride heart heavy big time)
Route Area (City vs highway %)

Any more to add on Lations???? :yehyeh: :yehyeh:

Hi Bro....for your queries....I did the following

Air Con adjustment - usually 23-24, after I drop my wify I turn off aircon for the rest of my ride.
Tyres (Air inflation did you check freq)- yup every 2 weeks
Traffic Congestion -variable, route in the morning always go via Kaki bukit viaduct. sometimes jam, just roll and roll,
Foot how heavy (Heavier you are, more it will lim your petrol) - not always, only when I encounter idiot drivers hogging road....
Speed constant (Maintain proper speed all the way to avoid unnec wastage of petrol) - usually between 70-90kmph
Way of driving - Sudden brake / pickup, etc..(rem any sudden movement sure pump our ride heart heavy big time) - seldom la, but sudden brake sure have when u kena idiots driving or cutting in dangerously
Route Area (City vs highway %) humm...no highway, but 50% road jams, 50% no road jams..

I scraped the curb a couple of times, but dun think that will siong my car FC...then again who knows.....
