'coolant cold' indicator ?

(1/2) > >>

joyrob:
hi all.. whenever i start my ride after a few hours in car park, the blue 'coolant cold' indicator always light up.. is it normal ? it goes off about about a few mins drive...

was wondering why did nissan even display this indicator if it is a normal symptom ? i tot display indicators are to warn of any imminent errors..

Jazz:
I assume you are first time car owner or driving car right? Every car either have a temp gauge or blue temp cold indictor (To cut cost) to show your engine is in cool condition, you can choose to move right away or wait for it to disappear which is when the car is about 70 to 80 degC.  ;)

not true leh.. i never encounter this for my kangoo van, sunny or corolla.. anyway as long as is not a defect can liao...

idiotboi89:
blue light goes off at 55 degree ( info by our dear safety car ), while the car still having blue light, try not to whack it ba, press gently move lightly, maybe around 2k, once lights off u can start whacking. Blue light is like telling u the car warming up.
