Hope the brothers here can shed some light.

I am a newbie in this car thing. Been riding motorcycles all my life and family commitments has made me to take up driving.

I do not have a car license yet. Hopefully, I will pass one day.

Been reading up here and there about cars.

Recently the Latio caught my interest.

Been reading up on other car makes and models. Basically the Suzuki SX-4, Swift, Honda Fit.

Perhaps anyone could provide comments or what they tink of the Latio Sport.

I understand there are 2 type of these Sports. The A/T and the ECVT. Any difference?

Is there much difference in road tax between a 1.5 and 1.6l cars? How about compared with 1.1 or 1.3?

What is this cashback thing?

Hope to hear from you guys.

Safe driving everyone.

How to answer this thread? If we say yes seems like latio owner of coz say latio good, if we say no then we seem s***** to buy our cars in the first place.

I think latio sports is good for me as I like the ionizer aircon and comfortable seats (better than full leather). The seats won't heat up as much as leather seats under hot sun parking as I'm sure many of you suffer the hot seat touch the skin sensation before. I also like the relative good sound proofing of latio for me to enjoy my music and cvt sports has tweeters. All other hatchbacks you listed cannot match latio for comfort.

CVT Sports could fold down back seats and slide the back seats fwd/bwd. I have ferried one TV (with the box) by this flexible setup. I also ferried one chinese mandarin tree and one pot of tao hua flower together at the back before.

I wish the engine could pickup faster, have back seat aircon and rear disc brake. If I can have this then this car is perfect. Just my thoughts as cvt latio sport owner.

wat's good depends wat's ur needs.
u probably dun need big boot space coz ur choice cars all hatchbk.
this is what latio has in my opinion is good for me:
latio has better leg room than any of those mentioned.
digital AC, ionizer, keyless entry are among the std features.
cvt sport will have foldable seats, as well as slidable seats, armrest,. of course, cvt gearbox vs 4AT, CVT is smoother, more efficient, but lesser power than 4AT.
cashback is more of if u have loan more than 30k for more than 7 yrs (if i'm not wrong), the interest will be 3.5% instead of standard 2.5%, but will give u cash returns better than what the higher interest will charge u.  if u intend to ride till end of coe, then u can go for that, but if u plan to change cars every few years, think hard coz the banks will be very happy

end of the day, u should test drive, visit showroom and compare all the cars, u are the driver, dun have to worry wat other say.happy choosing!hope u join the lation nation :devil2:
