I think anytime after the warranty expired (from 4th year onwards), it is quite worth because all parts and labour are covered and we dun have to fork out additional $$ for the parts (if we did not sign up for NPMP).

Hi,

Yes agree, and unless we intent to drive for more than 3 years. So I may not sign the package as I don't intent to drive long.

yes, good for those who drive long and mostly stock. If I remember correctly, you can't transfer NPMP to new buyer of your car.

I ever bought over the balance of the NPMP from a friend's nissan because he switched to another brand.  That is, it could be transferred even to a different owner for a different car.  Not sure whether the policy has changed.

Hi,  not sure what you meant by "all parts.....are covered".  Understand that some parts are not covered.  Better to check with TCM (in writing) before committing.

Hi Jazz

I may agree with u.
If your next 10k serving is not so soon, then your S$1091 is like prepaid to TCM for them to use the $ to earn more $.
Prepaid / collect $ up front b4 rendering services to customers... SMART tactic.
sorry, i must agree because i don't know how to disagree. agreeeee only....

it's better to hv a personal feel of how flasflo performs for yr car by trying EO of another GOOD brand and series. i was shocked at the enormous difference at 20k service with own EO and felt the 1st 20k mileage has wasted my car and my ride joy.  i think priority in buying a car is to enjoy it, at least for the reasonable power and performance we are paying so much for.

from my query to the TCM staff during my 10k service (around 1.5yrs back), they said can bring own EO to change in NPMP but they cant offset NPMP cost. if npmp is a must, it is worth it to pay more to get own good EO to really enjoy yr car and ride. however, becos using outside EO, car need (or recommend - cant remember) to re-service at 5k interval. Not sure things have changed since then.

NPMP is a very good initiative. If TCM allows EO offset from NPMP cost, then it is excellent. i guess TCM has enough customers on hand for their NPMP (thus the long queue at service centres) and thus they disallow other EO other than their own flasflo EO to maximise their profit. it makes sense for them as a biz.
