Steering wheel problem

Happened to me before, during parking also when reversed and go front few times (tink 3 or 4 times) to park nicely, suddenly power steering became no "power", really damned "heavy" where u really need lots of energy to turn.. panic and worry, parked my car and stopped the engine. But when starts engine again, ok le.. strange.. then never happen again.. phew..

Since we're on the topic of steering wheel, anyone experienced a cranking sound when you steer inside a MSCP? Is it normal from our power-steering? :confused1:

Cranking sound not sure bro but now, whenever i turn my steering wheel, some sort of weird sound emit from it. Anyone encounter this before. I know its not the steering coupling or joint fault as this will emit "kong Kong" sound. This time is more subtle, sound like whirring sound. Pek cek ah :glare:. Just 1 month ago, TCM change my steering joint.

Think I know what you mean...I also experienced the weird sound when steering & the 'kong kong' sound, especially inside MSCP...not so much during road driving....
So you still have this prob after TCM changed your steering joint?
