Drive mode - D, D1, D2

eclaire:
hi guys, i would like to know what's the difference b/w the D modes?

CustomGolf:
D1 is like your first gear and D2 is your second gear, these 2 are more for climbing or going down severe slopes which is seldom used in Singapore. D is like your third gear (with OD off, the yellow light on your meter is on) and 4 gear with OD on. I normally would play with the OD button when I merge traffic or when overtaking.

HumbleCar:
Some MSCP very steep too.  D2 may come in useful, though D also can go up but feel the car struggle a bit when full load.  Think OD effect kicks in only after certain minimum speed, else won't feel it.

OD = OverDrive
it is automatically selected unless you activate the OverDrive Off function by pressing the button on the gearshift (on right side facing driver)
