Bro, you stay SK? If yes, think I saw your car before with the CNG sticker on white Latio. No chance to take photo.

Nope Bro, I stay in the West. I think I got lost in SK once on the way back from Giant Tampanies. ;D. Perhaps you saw me there.  ;D

Thks for ur advice, pls pm me the company who do it for u. I am considering to install 1 since i drive around so much (~3,000km/mth), so hope can save some petrol by using CNG. No time to go into details on this assembling, so thks for advising here.

Few more questions :-

(1) How do u switch between the petrol n CNG? Is there a button/switch to do it in ur driver side?

Yes, there is a push button switch near the controls for the side mirror But, start up is in petrol, once optimum temperature is reached, it will change to CNG automatically.

(2) Is there an insurance coverage from the installer (touch wood)... if it explodes? How safe is it?

Nope. I covered it from my own insurance, abt $25 per $1000 value.
In fact , it is safer than our normal petrol tank. CNG tank can takes up to 350bar of pressure and there are extensive tests being conducted.

Or do we hv to get additional cover from our own car insurance?

(3) Roughly how heavy is the empty tank + all the things installed? Considering the additional 10kg full tank CNG weight is ok..

According to my installer, the dead weight of the 66L tank is abt 64kg + some fittings (abt 10kg)=74kg. So if pump full tank, it should be another 10kg. So total weight is abt 84kg. But this can be off set by having only 10L of petrol in your tank. So additional weight =84-35=49kg

PM you already/ Please check. For your queries, please refer to above.  ;)

Well depends, my monthly mileage is about 2000km and I stay about 5km from the pump so for me its worth it. As for your case, you might want to consider the breakeven period and where you stay.
