What things to buy during 20k servicing?

called by SE for advice. He suggested I should go for my 20k service with TCM since my car is only 9 months old, and I should wait until my car is over 1 year and no big problem with the car then service outside. Else, TCM can always void the warranty if anything happen....

I have encountered several car distributors who find excuses to void your warranty when customers do not service their cars with them.

Revenue from the distributors' workshops make up a substantial part of the revenue and if there is no revenue coming from servicing, they are not going to suffer a loss either, to replace faulty parts in a car which does not contribute to their revenue in not servicing with them.
