Do I need new tires yet?

<< < (2/4) > >>

clarence:
Tyre rotation should be ideally be done every 10,000km, so yours is long overdue.

The outer sides of your front tyres should be pretty worn out by now, if they have not been rotated since new.

Now my mileage is 23000+ - , my 4th service i done outside, not at TCM. So the front&back tyres have not swapped yet, when shld we swap? Will TCM do for us? I am thinking to service at TCM msia for my 5the service.

You using mineral oil all the while?

Ying:
The 2 years TCM service package include tyre rotation and wheel alignment.

You better check the date on the stock Toyo Tyre. Mine was 4 year old when I took over a 2005 Latio but the thread was like new. Changed mine immediately after knowing the age of my tires. 2years plus tire still can use on city driving following the road speed limit and not tailgate. If $ not a problem then better change it.

I check my stock tyres, it's printed 0305, which means march 2005 rite?

Think it means 3rd week 2005. which means it's about 3.5 year old, anyway, my ride is 50k+ km less than 2.5 years old and I'm on my second set of Hankook Ventus V8s. You can't save on your tyres, it's has nothing to do with everyday driving, it's about when you need it.
