used 4000km already, still good. Smooth, quiet, responsive.

I changed at 77505km, Hussein requested me to change at 90,000km. Will continue to monitor, drain out oil and see the colour after 90,000km

Tats the way!! In fact those who came by our work shop will know that we do kip a sample of other brand of used oil and compare.

James/Bilancia

Let us know the oil color after you've done the oil change.

If it's black and dirty, it means the engine  oil's been good in cleaning the deposits in the engine.

If the oil is still clean or just a little brownish, it means it has not been doing its job.

Hi Clarence,

From my understanding, this is not alway the case. Will ask my mech tml when i come to workshop. Should be late afternoon. Anyone here with comments or info to share?

Regards,

James/Bilancia

Hi Rocket,

Yes, we indeed use air gun to flush the OLD/PREVIOUS engine oil out and make sure that the last drop is out of the engine. This step is good as it force all the waste from the engine to come out. For example as u know that engine wear and tear.. metal particles will surely be 'swimming' in the engine. Hence if u change oil but did not perform this step, some of the matal particles will still stay in ur engine.. so wat is the diff?

Come to our workshop at 48 Toh Guan Rd East, #01-111, Enterprise Hub todae and try out stuff!! Hope to see you soon.

Bilancia

from my understanding, its the other way around.

if its black and dirty, probably your grade of oil is too low or the oil has been used for too long.

so, yeah. tan chong oem engine oil sucks btw. dirties your engine. dont believe? look at your engine dipstick. its YELLOWED.

Hhmmm.... I am sure the information from a Dutch oil giant like Shell cannot be wrong.

But I just can't seem to find this info in their website now.

Hi all,

I confirm with our mechanics that the EO even after use cannot be so black. And also, mjust not be harden like gel or etc... In fact we do kip sample of some used EO that has been so call harded as our sample.

Do come by and have a look.

oil sure that colour bro.

but staining the engine dipstick is another issue.

imagine your dipstick got stains on it. try to imagine how the inside of your engine looks.

but no worries, most latio drivers drive too leisurely to bust a gasket or piston. =D

Feedback given by Mr Osman, a happy return customer. Previous oil change in May 2008.

Quote
This is the 2nd time i am coming back to Bilancia Intl Pte Ltd. Was initially introduced to use their Hicom engine oil in May 2008 but was not confidence with it as i was all along using another brand for the past 10 years.

The mechanic explained and managed to convinced me and since its onli $90++ for a bottle so change it.

Once changed, i can feel the big diff in my car. But i dont want to conclude so early. Waited and used it throught out my next 10000km. My ride is still as smooth and one thing have to take note is that my fuel comsumption improved alot. I am very happy with the engine oil and hence i come by again to them.

Exellence services from them thats why i gave them the support by allowing them to take my car pic and also wrote them this report. Good luck and all the best to everyone of Bilancia Intl Pte Ltd

*Mr Osman is not our staffs and we dun pay him anything for the report instead we gave him even beta services!!!!!

1st time heard of this brand (Hicom-Lub), but ok, give it a try due to i bring and visit my frenz couple of shop away. Grooming is good and cheap consider my Odessy size. The engine oil they carried is just great, my engine is much smoother and rpm seem to be going up easier. After 2 weeks of using, i realise my petrol comsumption improve by 10%!. I will definetly recommand this engine oil to all my customers and friends. Good job!!!

Mr David is using HiCom-Lub 9000 (Fully Syn)

Due to higher operating temperature from CNG, I just need to be sure that HICOMM EO can take the heat. Currently on Carlube 5W40. Btw, do you do spark plug re-gapping (if I get new plugs from you) to 1.0mm?

Thanks!

Thank you Michael for bring your car to do servicing.

Feedback given by Mr Michael from Sg Kia forum.

Here is mine feed back after doing a full servicing plus checking of my car. My car felt smooth using the hicom 9000 with irudrum spark plugs. Over all i m very happy with the service and the price quoted to me is resonable for the service they provide and advise they gave. Would give a 10/10 marks. Would come to this shop for my furture servicing. Once again thanks Bilancia.
