205/45/R16 tyres too low profile?

Bro, I am not on V8s. My tyres are Goodyear LS2000 Hybrid II. Not bad.

Any owners on this profile as well? Is it too low???

I'm not certain that many forumers are downgrading back from 16 to 15" but what the tyre shops says is not entirely wrong. They are right when they said better pick up and more stable because the tyres are smaller so easier to turn. More stable because the lower the sidewall, usually the harder it is. on top of that, ur car's centre of gravity is lowered.

however, my guess is because that tyre shop doesnt have stock for 205 50 16 tyres, and hence may want to convince u to take the 205 45 16 tyres (this size is very common for the other jap brands e.g. Honda fit, lancer, vios etc)

if u would to ask me, i wont take that tyre size. try to stick within 2% from the original diameter OD

How can pick up be better with a wider tyre (205 against 185) which has more contact & resistance with the road.
