bro,
for a fuel line system, we got fuel filter, fuel pump to transfer the fuel to the injector and those tubing for supply and return....sometime for those old car, the fuel filter needs to be change just like air/oil filter....
Aftermarket product like fuel regulator etc etc is to regulate the pressure of supply line...

When the fuel indicator is at the bottom 1/4 mark, I can pump in only 32 litre of petrol, which means the bottom 1/4 tank is holding on to 18 litres of petrol.

I second this information ... last week i just went in and had my tank filled to a 3/4 first, +/- 1 % from the gauge, then i pump another time to make sure that I have 3/4 after the traveling from SengKang to 2nd Link (woodlands jam from onemotoring)
the differences is only about another 12 dollars, which is about 5+litres
I usually will drive till reserve light up and most of my fillup is about 38 litres
so technically we have about 7 litres of reserve but please bear in mind that the design usually have about 2 litres of buffer and our fuel pump will have difficulty draining the remaining 2 litres, thus we will be only able to travel for about another 4-5 litres. ;D
but i seldom do that as I do not want to stop my car waiting for help ...

sometime aga aga can liao la...that extra will not save that much...

just felt that if going in just to pump petrol cannot save much lor ...
if going in for some agenda and "shun pian" pump then is ok ... no need to push or pump slowly one ar ... cant save much... :bleh:
anyway, they must have their own reasons to do that kinda trick to maximizes their pump, maybe got a big house to service? got 2 wifes? kekee ... :devil2:
zzzz:
got one time the Today report , some sg car use a ram to tilt the car in order to pump more...
