For those of u who want to DIY, 3M sells it in cannisters that u can spray on yourself. A fren just bot 6 cans to spray himself. i gotta ask him next week where he bot from.

Zippy, how much your SE charged you? And when you did that? Thanks.

Tuff kote is supposed to be for rust proofing while system 6 is actually a paint protection thing (sealant). Rust proofing using bitumen was developed mainly for cold countries where it snows. Unless it snows in Singapore, there isn't much reason to do it except to waste your money. If you have ever driven under snowing conditions, you'll know that salt is introduced to help melt the snow and by driving through these road condition, salt will be deposited all over your car, guess what happens next. Have you seen a car that has a rusty body in the last 10 years? I guess not. I've not seen any since the days of the Toyota Starlet (EP60), Toyota Corrolla (KE35), Datsun 120Y and perhaps the Nissan Pulsar days.

Heard that the resale value depreciates more if no rust proofing found on the car, is that true? :confused1:
