The first 1600km or 1000 miles as stated in your manual.  :D

hi there,

try to find a lighter than stock weight rim and it should be fine.

While size of rims does play a part in FC, but weight, driving style and driving routes does play a big part as well.

Cheers! Hav fun rim shopping!

anyway, rims brand isn't important, right? most important is the tyres? what brand wont be so slippery? last time i heard yokohama is bad? any recommendation?

tyres are the only thing in contact with the road, not the rims  ;D

every brand has a range of tyres, its rather impossible to have a tyre which is super quiet, super good wet grip, F1 dry grip, super comfortable and yet super stable at corners. Hence, what is important is to search for info on the model of tyre rather than just brand alone.

Thanks Jazz, haven't collect my ride yet so have no idea. Within run-in period, speed should not exceed 80km/h?  :confused1:

Well, I have read many articles about run in period. Focus on your RPM instead of speedometer. Many have their own views regarding this run in period thing, but most commonly people will tell you try not to exceed 2500rpm and hard braking.  ;)

But I did whack up to 4000rpm unintentionally during my run in period when I try to over take.
