According to SA, this part being replaced will be an improved part. Late will go and ask more.. car ready liao.. leaving office earlier to go collect. will update more tonight.

This is really scary...my latio is abt 1 mth old....so far it has served me well....but i do have a bolt that rust very badly...when you open ur bonnet, there is a bolt on each side of the front at the side of the lining....I am going to send it in to them tis sat to check..also the rubber sealing right at the back of my wind screen was tucked in....hope it dun cause leakage....also, the UV protector thing got quite a bit of bubbles on the side window and 2 scrap mark (probably when they stick the UV protector sticker) on the front wind screen...sian..

Latiorarri:
Okay folks... erhh this a bit off topic... but i got back my car liao..

1) Steering coupling changed.. car's fine now
2) 2 rear shock absorbers changed .. no more squeeky noise
3) re centred steering wheel, no more difting to left.
4) tighten/adjust belting, no more squeeky noise from the rotating parts.
5) Air con cranky, Ambient temperature sensor not working properly, replaced.

actually the car is fine.. i've been a bit rough with it lately.. so feeling guilty then today eng so i sent the car in for servicing.. the only big issue i had was the steering wheel coupling the rest i just added in see what TCM will do.. i got all my issues fixed. car was actually ready at 1pm. but i din have time to go collect.

Glad that they fixed the faults for you, but am surprised that so many problems have surfaced prematurely in a 7 month Latio.

baggiohuei:
Hi Latiorarri or anyone here...

how do we know the steering wheel coupling needs to be change? any symptom will let us know in advance?
since you already change new set, how you feel on your car handling? easy to turn the steering?
thanks...
