Nissan Car Lounge - Almera, Juke, Latio, Qashqai, Sylphy, Teana Owners > Latio
Another fierce Nippon Car..

Despite the bad service at Tan Chong Motors, I must say Latio is still good value for money at $52,000.
Another in the same league worth considering is the Suzuki SX4. Same price as Latio.
The general feedback from my friends and colleagues who currently, or previously have owned Thai assembled cars like Altis, Vios, City is that the QC & materials used are not as good as true blue 100% Japanese assembled ones.
Thai assembled cars' OMV are also lower, resulting in lower scrap value.

"New" Corolla Altis (carried over engine - same engine as 2000 model Corolla) was selling for a whopping $69,988 in April 2008 !!! :zipped:
Now just 5 months later, with COE prices still the same, prices have dropped by $10,000 to $59,988.
Congrats to those who bought during the launch. They helped Borneo Motors subsidise the hundreds of thousands of dollars spent in its numerous TV and newspaper ads. :bleh:
