Hi kanzo
I have the same +ve habit , i.e. to off the aircon, off the lights, off the radio+players before i switch off the engine. the rpm shld be normal. good ones u hv share out. thanks.

You will notice lack of power when driving off during cold start with air con turned on.

Hi clarence,
Good idea. I always drive for abt 2km to 3km before i switch on the aircon. When i switch on the aircon, it has a "shnggg" sound... like farttting...
Regards.

I've the sound too.
clarence:
That sound when you start the air con should benormal but if it persists after your air con is turned on, then there are some faults with your air con.
Some Lations here experienced this problem, sent their Latios bk to Tan Chong and got their air con compressor replaced.

Hi arias,
I noticed, if you drive for longer distance before you switch on the aircon, the 'shnnng' snd is very very soft.... almost cannot hear it.... Try to drive until the car is fully warmed up... may be 3 to 5 km after u drive off ?
Regards.

Okay, will try that. But I usually turn on the aircon in MSCP, so the sound is very obvious in the enclose MSCP. If I drive 3 to 5 km away, I'll probably ended up on the main road, more noises from the surroundings, maybe hard to hear the sound. But anyway I will try that. THX.
