Ignition only takes about 10sec worth of fuel afterall. But make sure you're familiar with the lights and know when to switch on, or else light green le you haven't move sure tio horn!

In europe and other countries, its the law to switch off engine at long lights. Save fuel and reduce pollution. ;D

saw some driver did that in Melaka, many traffict light have digital count down. That's help the driver to estimate when to turn off/on the engine but frequent on/off engine also no good leh.

SoL:
Up to you! The money saved on petrol is definitely more than a starter thats for sure. ;D

But the worst is switch on engine AND aircon and sleep in car. Thats the money killer man! I estimate one hour burn one litre of petrol!  :crycry:

LatioR:
i think it's sb more than 1 L per hr one lah..if only 1L/h...worth of staying inside the car, watch DVD at $1.6+/hr (much cheaper than paying to watch at cinema rite) :devil2:... Btw, any one can help abt DIY to reduce RPM to 800 during idle? Thanks to share.

Ying:
I think it can be program, just ask for it during your next servicing. but you have to go TCM or those workshop what can program latio car. Not sure about DIY
