Thanks for sharing.

But missed out some items:
1) If travelling in groups, good to have walkie talkie for each vehicle.
2) GPS with correct map.

Hi baobao, no need to be so serious lah...

Hi all, advise to avoid night driving especially via 2nd link which is very dark and might really need "the weapon" mentioned by baobao for just in case...

Hi HJB,

For communication purpose ... esp if any ppl need to go pit stop, can tell the rest to exit at next RnR.

But if having long convoy, the last few cars may not be able to receive depending on the range.

I'm a bit kia su.. I have this in my trunk whenever I go for long malasia trip.

1. Jump Starter kit with in-built battery/ tyre pump. Don't want to get stuck with flat battery and can still pump type for 'lao hong' tyre to get me to the next petrol station. Don't want 'friendly' tow truck that bring me to their 'black' shop.
2. Spare tyre and tyre repair kit. In case puncture tyre, still can fix and drive to nearest petrol station.
3. Steering lock, as weapon and lock
4. AAS membership. Can have AAM reciprocal towing service.
5. Travel Insurance.
6. Torch light.
7. Spare 2025 lithium battery, with mini screw driver in case Ikey battery flat.

Oh, I had convoy with 50 vehicles before, really no issue.

What we do is to break up to 10 veh per mini convoy. In each mini convoy, 1 leader and 1 sweeper. All veh has distinct call code, leader #1, sweeper #10. If #10 cant reach #1, then ask #4,5,6 to convey message.

Ive driven up and down the entire NSH 3 times. EWH from Penang to Rantau Panjang, and to and fro Bangkok, so i think i know long distance driving.

Very important is to watch what we eat. I tend to take the dry foods like biscuits, reduce chances of urination and wet crap  :bleh:

pen knife is for open letter, if they come to rob you very likely they have parang. Fighting is not a good option for you.
