This really works.  The best solution I have tried.  Since I tried it a few days ago, changing gear from P to D no problem at all.

When doing this, the gear should be at D or N?

Hi Bro, the sequence is listed step-by-step by SoL above.  After a few days, now I am already gotten used to the "odd' sequence of the steps required to put the gear to P when parking.  Put to N then step foot-brake (the one on the left) then release the normal brake (the middle one) to let the car roll a abit (- sometimes no roll).  Lastly, then put to P.

The trick is to allow parking brake to "bite" the wheels and do not allow anymore roll before trying to shift to P.

when I put to N, then foot brake, then off engine then shift to P, what will happen? it is no good? coz seems smoother this way
