static from car

haha..i also have this static problem sometimes...my frens always say I "shocked" them
when walking too close to them..so i'm extremely scared when it happen during petrol pumping
as i find it is very dangerous to have static at the petrol station.

so what i do is i keep a bottle of water in my car then wet my palms a little bit b4 i get
out from the car for petrol pumping. My palms can be very dry at times so maybe thats why
got static.

will a small bottle of hand lotion better? ... but I dun know if guys like to be seen using lotion in public :zipped:

Pls becareful when you go petrol station to pump petrol then.

You can try to hold a metal part of the car when you alight. This will discharge your static to the car and prevent a "shock" when you alight and then close the door.

I've tried it (when i was studying overseas) and it works.

That is true. As long as you touch any metallic part of your car before pumping, then the static will be discharged.
