Car vibrating at low speed
« on: October 22, 2008, 12:07:30 AM »
Hi bros,

Just got my ride about 2 weeks ago. Then started to feel shaking mid last week. The car is "vibrating" at low spped, typically at car parks.

Went TC for 1k service last thur and told the mechanic about this concern. But their answer is due to tyre. As I upgraded my rim and tyre straight after collecting the car 2 week ago, so afraid they were just using that as an excuse and didn even bother to check.

The car has more severe "vibrating" feeling this week.   :nonod:

Checked the air pressure and pumped all as 230 as someone suggested in other thread. But it didn help.

Can anyone advise?

Btw, the tyre I am using is Bridgestone RE001. Could it be the reason?

It nothing to do with your tyre pressure, either alignment out or need to do balancing. Go back to the tyre shop and request to rectify.

Thanks bros. Will check with the tyre shop in tat case.
Btw, is this kind of rectification normally FOC or need to pay one?

Balancing is FOC if you changed tyres or rim, else pay only average $20 only.

What did the tyre shop say?

Did you manage to get it rectified?
