But if mineral oil is used, it's free.

Actually, it depends - if u purchased yr Latio recently, TCM would throw in NPMP free plus 1st 3 service free also. If u are on this package, then 10,000km service is using synthetic oil. If your package only got 1st 3 service free and NO NPMP, then the 10,000km service uses mineral oil. This will be stated in the Service history card that TCM will mail to you abt 2 months after you collect yr new car.
If you have not recieved yr service history card and you're kum cheong, u can simply call up yr SE to ask, or ask the service centre people when u send in yr car for the 1000km or 5000km service. :thumbsup:

Yes, I am on NPMP. Anybody has their engine tuned at their 10K servicing?
clarence:
It is the norm to have engine tuned at major 10,000km intervals servicings.
So for 10,000km servicing, your engine should be tuned.

Thanks =)
Any idea what parameters/behaviors were tuned?
clarence:
The ECU (Engine Control Unit) is tuned.
This ECU is like the car's hardware.
Your car should run smoother after tuning.
