Hi... I've been using 195/60/15 Bridgestone GIII previousy, and now on 195/55/15 Bridgestone RE001. Theoretically, 205/55/15 is a better alternatively to 195/55/15. However, you can hardly find 205/55/15 locally with the tyres you wanted to have in mind.
Wheel gaps will be there. Mine looks like a SUV now where you can put a fist between the wheel and the wheel arch.
At the end of the day, happy OK liao. Unless you are driving pretty extremely, it should be perfectly fine for normal driving conditions.
Cheers!

How's the wheel gap and acceleration performance when you were on 195/60/15? I'm still on 15inch rims and don't intend to upsize yet.

bro, why don't you try 205/50/16 or 205/55/16? I feel that if you wanna change, must well do a "good job".
205/50/16 has been used by couple of forumers here and have proven to work with minimal or no impact to FC.
Btw, if you are using the stock rim for Toyo J50 185/65/15, then 195/60/15 is the only size you can choose.
