just did my first 10K and started on synthetic "FastFlo" provided by TCM.....is it truth that this oil not very good?

AGIP is too ex. get ELF $54 for 4L better than Mobil Silver and Shell Helix

I believe the Mobil1 you mentioned is actually 5W50, thicker oil than those selling at the stations which is 0W40. I might be wrong though.

I saw those 1 litre pack Mobil 1 fully synythetic oil going for only $15 each. So 4 bottles or 4 litres only S$60. Packed in Singapore. Same as those you get from Esso petrol stations retailing at about $110 for 4 litres.

But the manufacture date was... ahem... October 2004.

Will sealed & unopened engine oil deteriorate over time?

Is it still safe to use 4 year old engine oil?
