Yup, indeed the high mileage give me an edge in bargaining. Assuming the car is being serviced regularly at Tan Chong and the health is ok, what other disadvantages will the high mileage put me in in the future? Low resale value?

Yup, regarding the CVT gearbox, i think it is meant to give you a comfy ride. Drive it gently and it will last. But if the previous owner whack it hard for a prolong period, it will give up on you sooner than you thought. The car is a high mileage car and if the previous owner is a cheongster... i may have maintenability issue in the future..

Nowadays car resale value is based on paper value + body value.

An ultra low mileage car will not command a higher resale price unless you intend to sell it to a private buyer.

Dear all Latio owners,

The car that i am aiming is 1.5 years old and mileage coming to 60k.
I like to seek advice on:

a.  what parts could have possibly been replaced at this mileage (assuming the previous owners had diligently sent the car in to TCM for servicing).

b. what is the next mileage due for servicing and how much is it?

I do not have a Latio manual so i can't check. Can any kind souls in here advise? If have the softcopy of the manual to send me also can. Thank in advance!
