Hi Folks

Has anyone done the wheels arc spraying???????
Will it reduce the noise of the tyres??
is it also act as soundproofing of e car????

My wheel arch's sprayed with a layer of tar but I find that it does not really help in  noise reduction.

For effective noise reduction, need to sound proof the firewall, doors and floor board.

So did u done all the sound proof for e firewall, doors and floor board?

No.

I only had tar applied on the undercarriage and wheel arch.

I don't feel comfortable having the local workshops remove my seats, carpeting and door panls to fit the insulation materials.

If the job is not done properly, I will get rattles and big gaps.

But this is personal. If you want to do it, the choice is yours.
